Dr. Donald J. Arima

Dr. Donald Arima grew up in McCleary and attended high school in Elma. (He was inducted into the Elma High School Hall of Fame in 2004). He graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Biology, and subsequently earned his D.D.S. degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1981.

Dr. Arima has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education programs, including work at three prestigious programs:

  • PAC-Live (Pacific-Aesthetic) Continuum, with a concentration in functional anterior and posterior restorations and full mouth rehabilitation aesthetics
  • Dental Boot Kamp: dentistry’s most intensive and comprehensive patient communication training continuum
  • Kois Center for Advanced Dental Learning

Dr. Arima has actively participated in several professional organizations, including Washington State Dental Association, Grays Harbor District Dental Society, Northwest Asian American Dental Seminar, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the Crown Council. Dr. Arima is a Mentor and teaching assistant at the Kois Center.

Dr. Arima has served as an Olympia chapter of the Japanese-American Citizens League. He is currently a member of the McCleary Chamber of Commerce.
